These terms set out the conditions for using Choicast (app.choicast.com).
1. About these terms
These terms set out the conditions for using Choicast (app.choicast.com, "the Service").
By starting to use the Service you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
2. What the Service does
The Service streams your PC screen from your browser and issues a public URL that plays in VRChat video players and similar.
Each stream ends after 15 minutes. It can be extended once, to a maximum of 30 minutes. These limits may change without notice.
3. Accounts
You sign in to the Service with a Discord account.
You are responsible for managing your own account.
4. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited when using the Service.
- Anything that violates the law
- Streaming content that infringes copyright, likeness rights or any other rights of a third party
- Streaming content that offends public order or morals
- Interfering with the operation of the Service, or placing excessive load on the streaming servers
- Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Service
5. Streams are public
A stream can be watched by anyone who knows the URL.
Please do not share a screen that contains confidential or private information.
6. Recording and storage
The Service does not store stream video or audio on its servers. Recording runs inside your browser, and recording files are saved only on your own device.
You are responsible for managing and using the files you record.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as is, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted streams, consistent latency, or playback in any particular world.
The operator is not liable for any damage arising from your use of the Service, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Changes to and suspension of the Service
The operator may change the contents of the Service, or suspend it, without notice.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised as needed. A revised version takes effect once it is published on this page.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Japanese courts.
